Half-Life Sound Selector (HLSS) is a program written by Disk2. It allows users to play multiple wave files over the voice-communication system built in to many popular Steam games. The latest version, 3.00, was released on June 28, 2002.
Many game server administrators do not allow HLSS or other music broadcast programs to be used, if used obnoxiously or spammed. Some admins will ban players without notice for using such programs.
