Bruce Hornsby's eighth studio album is titled Halcyon Days. This would be Hornsby's second studio album with his current band, Bruce Hornsby & the Noise Makers, although the album is technically a solo-credit. This album marks Hornsby's first release with Columbia Records. Track 6, What The Hell Happened, is also a rare example of the use of bitonality in a pop piece.
