Hajime Hirasawa

From Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia

Hajime Hirasawa was the music composer of the Japan-only Famicom Disk System video game title, Time Twist: Rekishi no Katasumi de... in 1991 and the SNES/Super Famicom video game title, Star Fox in 1993. He left Nintendo immediately after the development of Star Fox, and formed his own company called Faith Corporation that produced MIDI music on demand. Though the Star Fox soundtrack was very well-received, Hirasawa has not since been publicly credited with game music composition.

Faith Corporation has grown into a big company, riding on the wave of cellphone ringtones, and they recently purchased the company Web Money.[1]

[edit] Super Smash Bros. Brawl

On May 22, 2007, Masahiro Sakurai revealed, on smashbros.com, a list of composers that would be working on Super Smash Bros. Brawl. Although not included on this list, Hajime Hirasawa was on July16 credited as "Composition Supervisor" for the song "Star Fox: Space Armada". If he actually is deeply involved in the game has yet to be seen.
