< Mr.Dweek, my name is Pete of Iceland and I can assure you that Haim Saban has no interest in speaking with you,I use to work as a prvt.chef for his family in there prvt. home and I can assure you that he is only concerned of himself and his $ I was never allowed to be myself ,nor explain an idea script to him or wife about a t.v show called project "FEED" I wanted to get created ,cooking /music/animation,travel where as it could of created jobs and being a charity show it would of and could of saved childrens lives around the globe.I was tossed away like a rotten apple.Believe me I cared very much about his whole family and well-being but because of misunderstood circumstances,they ruined my hard earned career/life of maybe being someone someday without hesitation.Unless you are a President of a country or have more money than God,forget about contacting this family.Seriously there stinginess partially forced me into mental depression.I know how fake these people are,I lived in there home.peturbogi@hotmail.com ph.(354)8692880

Sorry...wikipedia doesn't allow that to give personal information. Was Haim Saban one of the co-founders of DIC animation corporation? DIC (DiC Entertainment ) is the world's 2nd largest animation producer, based in a number of countries like Luxembourg, the USA, France, Italy, Spain and Japan. Saban with former co-employee Andy Heyward now the CEO of CBS television, was in the early days of DIC. They created memorable cartoons like Inspector Gadget, the Littles and Seven Cities of Gold in the 1980s. If it weren't for Saban and his creative genius, TV animation won't survive into the 1990's and today (of course, Disney and Warner Bros. fare better, then DiC under Saban's management proved his worth). Before Saban left DIC, he helped Marathon, a France-based animation firm and Cartoon Network studios under media mogul Ted Turner get in agreement with DIC. Saban and Turner made successful cartoon serieses together: Captain Planet and the Planeteers taught children on environmental issues in the early 1990's. 207.200.116.195 07:12, 12 October 2006 (UTC)

[edit] Potentially problematic tag in Univision article

I was led to this page from the Univision article. It referred to Saban as a Jewish-Egyptian billionaire. Is this insensitive? Is the Jewish adjective intended to distinguish him from Muslims? Why do we identify people as Jews? I don't recall people mentioning Ted Turner's religion. Dogru144 05:01, 10 September 2007 (UTC)
