Hailsham Community College is the only secondary school in Hailsham. The school is a dual specialist Sports College and Business and Enterprise College. The majority of children from the primary schools in Hailsham tend go on to study at Hailsham Community College, with a very small number going to other secondary schools, the most popular of these being Ringmer Community College and Heathfield Community College. hailsham Community College consists of a secondary school for pupils aged 11-16 and then a Sixth Form College for students aged 16-18.

Hailsham Community College has 4 buildings, a main block, science block, craft block and youth block, as well as an extensive sports hall which was recently added.
