Haikou Century Bridge

Haikou Century Bridge is a bridge in Haikou City, the capital city of Hainan Province in People's Republic of China. The bridge was designed to link the main part of Haikou city to Haidian Island, a district separated from Hainan Island by Nandu River.

The expense on the Century Bridge project was said to be around RMB 660 million. The bridge is 2683 meters in total length and 29.8 meters in width and is available for automobiles and pedestrians.

Haikou Century Bridge project started in 1998 and was completed in 2003. Part of the expense was paid by Japanese banking loans, and other parts were paid by Haikou City budget.
