I am a senior in high school. I enjoy reading, politics, history, and a bunch of other things. I plan on attending a four-year college. I want to eventually become a journalist. I plan to major in political science, alongside journalism, or economics. I believe in using reason to solve problems. I hope that strikes everyone as obvious, but increasingly it seems reason takes a back seat to other concerns.

I have enjoyed using Wikipedia for several years now. It has greatly contributed to my education, and it has bailed me out on numerous occasions when I needed quick information. There are things going on now that I feel are threatening the progression of the project. I feel its finally time I gave back and started contributing to the project
