[edit] Skrepnick image
I removed the image by Mike Skrepnick. First, I don't believe it has a usable copyright tag. Second, it was originally published as a restoration of Nomingia, not Hagryphus--news sites merely co-opted it.Dinoguy2 03:00, 6 April 2006 (UTC)

- Dinoguy, the image is published as a press-release illustration here: [1]. Press release images are explicitly OK for fair-use republication. I re-added this image before I saw that you had earlier removed it; on further reflection I believe it's totally reasonable to use this pic here. Plus, it's an amazing image.

- I've also emailed the author of the image for explicit permission to use it here. Pending his reply, we should keep it up. Killdevil 16:00, 6 April 2006 (UTC)

- Ok, I didn't realize pess release images were usable, but looking more closely at that tag I think you're right (I'd assumed it was a standard "big red C" copyight tag, oops!). I agree, keep it up, but I'm goig to put it on Nomingia as well, since that's what it was originally intended to represent.Dinoguy2 17:04, 6 April 2006 (UTC)

[edit] Manus linking
Right now, manus in these dinosaur articles do not have anywhere to link to. To me it at best can point to a definition on Wikidictionary, but if someone thinks an encyclopedia article can be made for Manus (hand) or Manus (dinosaur), then go ahead and create it. Please do not link to the disambigation page at Manus. --- Jagged 11:49, 6 October 2006 (UTC)
