Hagrama Mohilary

Hagrama Mohilary (Bodo: हग्राम मोहिलरि) alias Hagrama Basumatary is the Chief Executive Member of Bodoland Territorial Council. He was previously the chief of BLTF . With the surrender of 2641 BLTF cadres in December 6, 2003, BTC was formed as aforesaid in the Memorandum of Settlement[1] signed by the Government of India in February 10,2003 .Consequently, Hagrama was elected as the chief of BTC which comprises of twelve other executive members.

Besides being a leader, Hagrama has got a poetic nature.Whenever he finds time he is with his pen yielding new verses. A Bodo album "Swr Nwng Onjali" has also come out with some of the songs written by him like"Dukhu thabai roje".
