C.S. Haggard Middle School is a secondary school serving grades six, seven, and eight. It is part of the Plano Independent School District, which uses a school system in which students in grades six, seven, and eight attend one of twelve middle schools. Students in grades nine and ten attend high schools, and students in grades eleven and twelve attend senior high schools. Haggard feeds into Vines High School with the students from Wilson Middle School. From there, they will proceed onto Plano Senior High School with the students from Jasper High School.

Haggard maintains a population of 849. The school's current principal is Julie-Anne Dean.
