Hagan Elementary School

Hagan Elementary School, located in Poughkeepsie, New York, is one of two elementary schools in the Spackenkill Union Free School District. It is for residents who live along New York State Route 113 or Spackenkill Road, as it is called locally.

The divider line between Hagan and Nassau Elementary School, the other elementary school is complicated. Those who live west of route 9 (US) and south of Spackenkill Road go to nassau, everyoine lese goes to Hagan. However, some special needs students living in Hagan may go to Nassau As of 2006, the school principal is Dr. Eileen Sicina. Average annual enrollment is 500 students. Approximately 6.2% of students qualify for the free or reduced lunch program, in contrast to 10% within the school district and 16.8% state-wide. ^[1] ^[2]
