Hagai Levi

Hagai Levi (born 1963 in Sha'alvim, Israel) is an Israeli film and television director, writer, editor, producer and critic.

Levi is perhaps most notably known for creating, directing and producing television drama Betipul and for producing HBO's American adaptation of the show. He won Israeli Academy's Best Director award for directing Betipul's first season, along with Nir Bergman. He also wrote for drama series Shabatot Vehagim and edited several telenovelas.
