Hadselfjord
From Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia
The Hadselfjord is a Norwegian fjord (and more correctly a strait) in Vesterålen which separates Hadseløya island in the northwest from Austvågøya island in the south and Hinnøya island in the east. In the northeast the Hadselfjord connects with Sortlandssund, which separates Langøya and Hinnøya.
A ferry passes between Melbu village and Fiskebøl village across the Hadselfjord. Formerly a ferry also passed between Stokmarknes and Kaljord on Hinnøya.
