Hadrat or Hazrat (Arabic: حضرات) is an honorific Arabic title used to honor a person. The literal translation of Hazrat means "Great Presence".
Examples of Hazrat used as a title are: Hazrat Mohammad, Hazrat Abu Bakr Siddiq, Hazrat Umar Farooq,Hazrat Uthman Ghani,Ali ibn Abu Talib|Hazrat Ali, Hazrat Al-Haaj Maulana Hakeem Nooruddin (1841-1914), Hazrat Al-Haaj Mirza Bashir-ud-Din Mahmood Ahmad (1889-1965), Hadhrat Mirza Nasir Ahmad, Hadhrat Mirza Tahir Ahmad, Hadhrat Mirza Masroor Ahmad
and Hazrat Pir.
It is also used as a last name in South Asia and Hazrati in Iran.
