Hadfield Football Club is an Australian rules football club located in the northern suburbs of Melbourne. The club was established in 1971 and joined the Essendon District Football League in that year. The club evolved however from a team representing the Hadfield Community Youth Club, which had been formed in 1961.
Known as the Hawks, Hadfield won an open age premiership in C Grade at the first time of asking, and has since added two B Grade flags to its haul. Hadfield's seniors have struggled of late, however, winning just 8 of out of 68 matches over the last four seasons.
Hadfield Football Club fields eleven teams each weekend from open-age to under 10s.
