Language and style

English is my native language, British English the style. Typically for a product of the British education system, my foreign languages are weak, and seven years' worth of French lessons imparted no real understanding of the language. A childhood education in Germany for two years left me with a trace of German.

I do however (perhaps paradoxically) take pride in use of the English language, and probably am the type who amend grammar and punctuation in others if I can get away with it.
