[edit] Official name

HACC's official name is now HACC, Central Pennsylvania's Community College. This entry should reflect this. —Preceding unsigned comment added by 151.205.227.133 (talk) 23:38, 1 January 2006 (UTC)

It's not an official name change...it's an advertising slogan. —Preceding unsigned comment added by 80.80.160.50 (talk) 00:17, 3 January 2006 (UTC)
If that's the case, then why did they change their envelopes from HACC - Harrisburg Area Community College to HACC - Central Pennsylvania's Community College? —Preceding unsigned comment added by 141.151.217.87 (talk) 18:38, 3 January 2006 (UTC)
I take it you were educated at HACC.

[edit] Advertising slogan

"Central Pennsylvania's Community College" is an advertising slogan. HACC happens to be the only "community college" in south-central Pennsylvania. It's official motto is "scientia restituo verum" Latin for 'knowlege restores truth'...which is on the official raised seal used by the college. Wrightchr 06:48, 9 January 2006 (UTC)
