Hachimori, Akita

Hachimori (八森町; -machi) was a town located in Yamamoto District, Akita, Japan.

On March 27, 2006, the town merged with the village of Minehama to form the new town of Happo.

As of 2003, the town has an estimated population of 4,494 and a density of 39.90 persons per km². The total area is 112.62 km².
