[edit] Naghle_zanane_sangi.jpg: What was wrong

You uploaded Naghle_zanane_sangi.jpg, claiming that This image is a screenshot of a copyrighted television program or station ID. As such, the copyright for it is most likely owned by the company or corporation that produced it. [...] To the uploader: please add a detailed fair use rationale for each use, as described on Wikipedia:Image description page, as well as the source of the work and copyright information.

You provided no fair use rationale for its use in Shiva Boloorian. It's 240kB large. And it is conspicuously overprinted with: © All rights reserved for Shiva Boloorian® SHIVABOLOORIAN.COM™ It's utterly incompatible with Wikipedia and I therefore deleted it. -- Hoary 07:20, 7 June 2006 (UTC)

Doing so will not end the discussion. -- Peripitus (Talk) 13:11, 9 June 2006 (UTC)

Hi, Habibpc. I don't think you read the above as you've blanked this page, the articles talk page and removed the deletion notice from the article. None of these edits are useful as the discussion on the article's future takes place in Wikipedia:Articles for deletion/Habibollah Allahdad - Peripitus (Talk) 23:03, 9 June 2006 (UTC)

Please stop removing Articles for deletion notices or comments from articles and Articles for deletion pages-- it is considered vandalism. You may comment at the respective page if you oppose an article's deletion. Thanks. - Peripitus (Talk) 00:32, 13 June 2006 (UTC)

Sorry, I thought the problem was just solved

  • Hi, the articles for deletion process usually continues for 5 days ( longer if needed ) to determine the consensus view on how the article is treated. Note that although the process is called deletion the outcome is usually one of:
Delete - article is deleted
keep - article is kept as is
Merge - article is merged into another article
Userify - article is moved to someone's user page and out of the main encyclopedia
In this case, as the article is a biography, there needs to be assertion in the article that it meets the notability guidlines, which usually means that independant third parties have written primarily about the subject. - Peripitus (Talk) 02:26, 13 June 2006 (UTC)

[edit] Disputed fair use rationale for Image:Shiva-001.jpg

Thanks for uploading Image:Shiva-001.jpg. However, there is a concern that the rationale you have provided for using this image under "fair use" may be invalid. Please read the instructions at Wikipedia:Non-free content carefully, then go to the image description page and clarify why you think the image qualifies for fair use. Using one of the templates at Wikipedia:Fair use rationale guideline is an easy way to ensure that your image is in compliance with Wikipedia policy, but remember that you must complete the template. Do not simply insert a blank template on an image page.

If it is determined that the image does not qualify under fair use, it will be deleted within a couple of days according to our criteria for speedy deletion. If you have any questions please ask them at the media copyright questions page. Thank you.BetacommandBot (talk) 05:42, 24 January 2008 (UTC)
