Thanks very much, Habashia. That was clever to think of the Google cache. Any ideas on finding the original author? Tim Ross·talk 16:00, 28 December 2007 (UTC)
[edit] Speedy tags
I notice you are placing a lot of speedy tags using {{db:not notable}} or some other narrative reason. There are specific criteria of speedy deletions and it would probably be advisable to explicitly nominate the particular reason you are basing the delete requies on: they are documented at Wikipedia:Speedy_deletions. "Not notable", for example, has to guide an appropriate choice when the admin actually decides to delete. A non-notable band could be deleted under {{db-band}} but there is no equivalent category for albums so these cannot be speedily deleted for reasons of notability alone. - Further to this, It's probably worth waiting more than 4 minutes from page creation to flaggin something as a speedy delete doue to something being no-notable (which is a non-criteria, according to WP:SPEEDY. In addition, it's polite to notify page authors -- Ratarsed (talk) 13:59, 10 March 2008 (UTC)
- Thanks. As I said to Ros0709, I still have a lot to learn!--Habashia (talk) 14:01, 10 March 2008 (UTC)
[edit] Thanks for the effort even though my RfA was closed
Oh snap, the DEA is an admin

I would like to thank you for your participation in my recent RfA, which I'm very glad to say was successful at 81/7/0. Some of the very best that Wikipedia has to offer came out to support or oppose me and the kind words from all the editors has really given me confidence to be an admin and I can't wait to start. I will take the advice of the opposes and not jump into any content disputes immediately. As well, I will try to add more content myself. Anyways, in thanks for participating in my RfA, here's your very own personal humanoid robot. Enjoy! -- ÐeadΣyeДrrow (Talk - Contribs) 14:28, 20 March 2008 (UTC)

templated rfa thank-spam
[edit] Thank you for your support
So...how do I use these things? ;>
I would like to thank the community for placing their trust in me during my recent request for adminship, which passed 72 13 2 . Rest assured, I have read each comment thoroughly and will be addressing the various concerns raised as I step cautiously into my new role as janitor. In particular, I would like to thank Balloonman for putting so much time into reviewing my contributions and writing such a thoughtful nomination statement after knowing me for only a brief period of time (and for convincing me that I was ready to take up the mop now, rather than go through admin coaching).
To my fellow admins - please let me know right away if I ever take any mis-steps with my new tools. Should I make a mistake, and you reverse the action, I will not consider it to be wheel-warring (but please tell me so I can understand what I did wrong).
To everyone - please feel free to slap me around a bit if I ever lose sight of the core philosophy of Wikipedia as I understand it - the advancement of knowledge through the processes of mutual understanding and respect. As always, feel free to drop by my talk page if I can be of any assistance. =)
Sincerely,
~xenocidic, 01:04, 4 June 2008 (UTC)
