[edit] Submitter?
are you a Submitter (to GOD alone, who accepts the Messenger of the Covenant, who has witnessed the Mathematical Miracle of Qur'an)? i am.
[edit] Atheist?
Submitters don't believe in organized religion, and don't consider themselves to be of theology. a purely semantic defintion would make us "a-theists" as well, but with faith. do you disbelieve altogether? you seem to have most of the right ideas, especially about liberty. interestingly enough, article 19 of the International Charter of Human Rights and Freedoms is the FREEDOM OF EXPRESSION. coincidence? could all of the Mathematical Miracle be a coincidence? is there a such thing as random?
david.aitken@gmail.com if you're ever interested in talking without an audience :P
also: i was an athiest (and disbeliever in GOD) for about 15 years. i know how it feels, and i know how it is to have certainty in GOD as well.
[edit] Re: Re: The way things are...
salaam! indeed, the holidays are a perk of pluralism. i don't take any in Submission, but in university (GOD-willing, next year) i get the jewish high holidays and the christian holidays!
Yahya is an awesome pseudonym, Ilyas is not actually my last name :P
good choice having a false name though, it's true that you'd have Evangelicals and Crazy-Corrupted-Islamists trying to put out crusades and jihads (respectively) on you.
i like you, i think some of your work here is invaluable. your support of my right to be a Submitter means a lot to me, because as it stands we're the mortal enemies of many Crazy-Corrupted-Islamist groups.
if you don't believe in GOD at all, then you can easily discard the mathematically impossible code 19 embedded in the Quran as "coincidence". i didn't believe in such a thing when i came to Submission (from Judaism, believe it or not!), and so i was amazed by the Great Miracle. did you know that the probability of all the 19 intricacies occuring as they do is as if you tossed 13 dice up into the air 19 times and EVERY SINGLE DIE produced a 6, EVERY SINGLE TIME. that is impossible by the laws of science that it seems you live by. i don't have the exact calculations on hand, but GOD-willing i'll get them when one of my friends returns from vacation.
i really enjoy talking to you because you are respectful, which goes along with GOD's command to "argue in the nicest possible manner."
- If GOD's system (before man was created) was perfect, how did Satan develop that "supercilious idea that he could run a dominion as an independent god besides God"?
--> free will allowed for us (and Satan) to develop our own ideas. being in the ever-presence of GOD Almighty, we never had any "bad" thoughts. how could we, when in ecstasy? how could anyone? couldn't! everything was beautiful, everything was joy. until...
Satan, with more power than many (as a high-ranking angel, one of GOD's most powerful servants), developed not only a bad idea... but a malignant ego.
In GOD's kingdom, certain creatures are necessarily given the powers needed to perform their duties. Satan believed that his GOD-given powers qualified him to function as an independent god. As evidenced by the prevalence of misery, disease, accidents, and war in his dominion, we now know (for certain!) that Satan is incompetent.
i can't tell you exactly "how" Satan came to be as he was/is, but i can guess. may GOD forgive my conjecture. Satan probably just got too much power and took all the "stupid" souls down with him. GOD, of course, knew that all this would happen... but He knew that among those "stupid souls" that chose to leave (you, me... the whole gang) there would be those who would refine, nourish, and develop their souls to magnificient heights, worthy of GOD's kingdom. it was out of His mercy that he filtered out the evil and allowed the righteous one last chance... the same chance you and i have.
the angels argued for us all to be put in Hell, but GOD knows what they do not know (2:30), and He has prepared for the righteous (who redeem themselves on earth) His abode; Paradise.
- "Satan" admitted to being created by GOD, obvisouly knows about GODs power, so why should he enter into a losing battle?
--> you know how stupid the ego is. you can witness for yourself how completely incompetent Satan is (evidenced by the prevalence of misery, disease, accidents, and war in his dominion). the "guy" is a freakin idiot. why do crazy-corrupted-islamists enter into war with the US? they're going to lose. why does anyone enter into a losing battle? stupidity, ignorance, ego... you name it buddy
- why should GOD enter into a millenia long "test".. when it can just "decreate" satan and solve the headache?
--> this is the demonstration of Satan's incompetence and of GOD's Greatness. those who chose Him ALONE (not Jesus, not Muhammad, not the saints etc.) experience bliss in this life and the next. i speak from experience :)
the headache? it's not GOD's headache... it's ours. we deserve it too, having comitted a horrendeous crime in Heaven.
GOD could easily have killed off Satan asap, or just never have created Satan (since He knews the future), but this is part of the great design, the master plan if you will, in which the best souls will be redeemed, and the filth will be filtered out and put where they belong. GOD is in the Infinitely Just; Al-Adl! :)
- Why the rebellion? Didn't GOD know that creating MAN and FORCING pre-genesis creatures to serve MAN would lead to jealousy amongst them? Any CEO would see to it that a star performer shoudln't be asked to work below a new entrant with no work experience.
--> lol, well put, good analogy. [7:11] We created you, then we shaped you, then we said to the angels, "Fall prostrate before Adam." They fell prostrate, except Iblees/Iblis (Satan); he was not with the prostrators.
this was AFTER Satan decided to be a god beside GOD, because human beings were created to be the vessels of the rebellious souls. the command to fall prostrate before the newly created human being came AFTER the fued of souls in the High Society. Satan had already made his fatal decision, and we had already expressed our indecision, the angels (who *did* prostrate before Adam) had already made their decision to stick with GOD.
GOD did not spark Satan's fatal decision by asking him to serve humans; Satan made his stupid choice before the human was created. :)
as for the test... you're living it. look around you. the natural world is marked by ineffible beauty (GOD's creation) whereas the human realm is filth (as so many people have already chosen to become constituents of Satan's kingdom). i wrote something for a school newspaper (borrowing largely from Rashad's work) that i'd like you to read. i don't think for one second that i can make anyone believe; belief grows from within a sincere heart. anyways, check it out:
The Answer
You’re alive. You think, therefore you are. Although, you’re probably unaware of your origins, other than the accepted knowledge of your mother’s womb. You inhabit a presumably endless cosmos, on a tiny little planet called Earth. Of course you’re not alone; in the struggle to align context with perspective the figure of about 6 billion others is constantly being tossed around. The world is not a simple place, and I would never dare to assume that your life is any simpler than mine. But in all this, in the seemingly relentless chaos we call existence, you must come to one absolute realization:
Something cannot come from Nothing. There must be a Source. There must be an Origin. There must be an Absolute. The Big Bang Theory is hardly theory anymore; we’ve located the centre of the universe and we know that it’s expanding outwards from that point. But, what’s behind the scale of this massive bang? How could the creation of infinity be “random”? To deny a Source of the Big Bang is a never-ending paradox – God is the end to the crisis of comprehension. The simplest answer to the manifestation of everything would be that God exists. God is, God has always been, God was not begotten, and if God does things “right,” you won’t know anything has been done at all.
Take 2 hydrogen atoms to form the Big Bang fusion of helium. Helium nuclei fuse to form carbon. Carbon and hydrogen make nitrogen. Carbon and helium make oxygen. Combined, this “accidental” mixture forms methane, amino acids, RNA, DNA and so on. Clays were the catalysts that spurred the “spontaneous” assembly of fatty acids into the small sacs that ultimately evolved into the first living cells.
And, after spending a few billion years along the path of succession, these “random” chemical events result in nervous systems, sense systems, circulation systems, breathing systems, digestive systems, muscles, bones, cartilage, vocal cords, ears, eyes, noses, mouths, teeth, tongues, and a complex cognitive brain that forms a “mind.” From seemingly nothing – from mere hydrogen – everything we have come to know and imagine was derived. And as something cannot come from nothing, how can we assume that random forces are to be accredited with such order and intricate biochemical processes as found in the simplest living things?
As for evolution, it is a divinely designed fact. God initiated all living things from water, beginning the creation of the human from aged clay – like the potter’s clay. Evolution is possible only within a given species. For example, the navel orange evolved from seeded oranges, not from apples. The laws of probability preclude the possibility of haphazard evolution between species. A fish cannot evolve into a bird; an ape can never evolve into a human.
Probability laws preclude Darwin’s evolutionary theory! In this computer age, we have mathematical laws that tell us whether a certain event is probable or not. If we throw five numbered cubes up in the air and let them fall into a guided straight line, the probability laws tell us the number of possible combinations we can get: 1x2x3x4x5=120 combinations. Thus, the probability of obtaining any combination is 1 in 120, or 1/120, or 0.0086. This probability diminishes fast when we increase the number of cubes. If we increase them by one, the number of combinations becomes 1x2x3x4x5x6=720, and the probability of getting any combination diminishes to 1/720, 0.0014. Mathematicians, who are very exacting scientists, have agreed that the probability diminishes to “Zero” when we increase the number of cubes to 84. If we work with 84 cubes, the probability diminishes to 209x10-50, or
0.00000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000209.
Darwin's famous statement that “life began as a ‘simple’ cell” is laughable. As recently as 50 years ago, Wells, Huxley, and Wells wrote in their classic textbook that “nothing can be seen inside the nucleus but clear fluid.” We know now that the cell is an extremely complex unit, with billions of nucleotides in the gene material inside the nucleus, and millions of biochemical reactions. The probability laws tell us that the probability of the haphazard creation of the exacting sequences of nucleotides into DNA is Zero, many times over. We are not talking about 84 nucleotides; we are talking about billions of nucleotides that must be arranged in a specific sequence. If 84 nucleotides are already diminished to a chance of ZERO, then how will billions conjure up the impossible?
Some evolutionists have stated that the human gene and the ape’s gene are 99% similar. However, we are still talking about 300,000,000 nucleotides that must be haphazardly rearranged to change the ape into a human. The probability laws preclude this as an utter impossibility. The human gene contains 30,000,000,000 nucleotides; how are 300,000,000 of them supposed to randomly reorganize? If 84 nucleotides are already diminished to a chance of ZERO, then how will billions pull of this “magic”? A fitting quote is that of Professor Edwin Conklin; he stated:
The probability of life originating from accident is comparable to the probability of the Unabridged Dictionary resulting from an explosion in a printing factory.
A bumblebee has 60,000 eyes on a surface area of a pinhead. Meanwhile, our scientific advances have shown us that our galaxy, the Milky Way, is 100,000 light years across, and that our universe contains a billion such galaxies and a billion trillion stars, plus countless decillions of heavenly bodies. Our universe is estimated to span distances in excess of 20,000,000,000 light years. If we take only a quintillion [1,000,000,000,000,000,000] of the stars and simply count them [from 0 to quintillion], one count per second, day and night, this will take 32 billion years (more than the age of the universe)! That is how long it will take to just count them; but God created them! Such is the greatness of God.
God is the Uncreated Creator – a self-sustaining single entity that initiated all and gives existence to the infinite, to space, to time, to the universe, to all active and passive forces imaginable, to life and to the soul. Thus; God is. God has always been. God will be forever. God is one; the eternal creator of the universe and the source of absolute morality. God is all powerful, as well as all knowing. God is non-physical, non-corporeal, and eternal – God is utterly unlike man. To God alone may one offer prayer. Nothing of worldly descent can mediate between human and God; no man, no circumstance, and no intercession. To completely understand God is to understand all and achieve omniscience; it is to comprehend the incomprehensible, to process the unprocessable, and to see infinity through the finite human mind. No human can reach this height of consciousness, but aspirations towards such and an affinity for ascertaining truth and knowledge is the path to enlightenment.
Of everything God brought into existence, God is the Most Gracious, Most Merciful. God states in His Final Testament:
The night overtakes the day, as it pursues it persistently, and the sun, the moon, and the stars are committed to serve by His command. Absolutely, He controls all creation and all commands. Most Exalted is God, Lord of the universe.
God is the light of the heavens and the earth. The allegory of His light is that of a concave mirror behind a lamp that is placed inside a glass container. The glass container is like a bright, pearl-like star. The fuel thereof is supplied from a blessed oil-producing tree, an olive, that is neither eastern, nor western. Its oil is almost self-radiating; needs no fire to ignite it. *Light upon light.* God guides to His light whoever wills to be guided. God thus cites the parables for the people. God is fully aware of all things.
Face it; you were created, and you serve a purpose. God is the Truth, and what is there after Truth, except falsehood? The real question is... where do you go from here?
H. Yahya... all you have to do is choose GOD. should you love Him? yes. you're here out of His mercy, and He has given you a mathematically irrefutible, infallible scritpure which is the path to the best salvation, the Highest Heaven... the path Home. talk to you soon, GOD-willing, please keep the questions coming for as long as you have them. you really have nothing to lose, even if you don't believe a word i say. in the end, i'm not gunna get mad if you don't agree, i'm just so happy to have profound proof from GOD and i love to share what He has taught me.
All praise to Almighty GOD, Answerer of All. :D
[edit] A little help?
Salaam Alaykum,
Remember me? How have you been? I was wondering if you could help me place a vandalism lock on the Rashad Khalifa article. After much bickering and some failed attempts at slander, we've come to a solid conclusion on the state of he article. The current version is basically final, but every week or so some radical Mohammedan vandalizes the article.
I don't know how to lock the article, so I was hoping you could provide me with a little help.
You can hit up my talk page, or david.aitken@gmail.com
Any help you provide is greatly appreciated, GOD bless.
[edit] Your userpage
H.yahya, your userpage currently states, "The anti-freedom ideologies belonging to terror groups like Al- Qaida, Hamas, Hezbollah and sectarian groups like Christianity and Mohammedanism, will have to be fought." Surely you are aware that a great number of editors around you subscribe to either Christianity or Islam. I might also inform you that "Mohammedanism," while arguably accurate, may be taken as offensive. Would you consider removing this language? I might or might not agree with you, but Wikipedia is not a WP:NOT#Wikipedia is not a soapbox, but an encyclopedia, and there are enough disputes here without adding our personal beliefs to the mix. What do you think?Proabivouac 23:26, 21 March 2007 (UTC)
