H.P. Baxxter (born Hans-Peter Geerdes on 16 March 1966 in Leer, Germany), is the frontman of the German techno group Scooter. He founded Scooter with his friend Rick J. Jordan in 1994.
Baxxter studied law for one semester, however he completed an apprenticeship as a wholesale and foreign trade buyer. Following that, he held a job with a record label. On 6 May 2006, he married his girlfriend Simone.
Before Scooter, Baxxter founded the band Celebrate The Nun, together with Rick J. Jordan.
