H. M. Reddy

H. M. Reddy (12 June 1892 - 14 January 1960) was the producer of first telugu talkie movie Bhakta Prahlada. His full name was Hanumappa Muniappa Reddy and he was also referred as HM Reddy. Before making his own productions, he worked as assistant to Ardeshir Irani, creator of the first Indian talkie Alam Ara. He produced successful telugu movies like Tenali Ramakrishna, Kalidas and GruhaLakshmi. He introduced lot of heroes like Nagaiah and other artistst to film industry.
