[edit] Bollywood article
H3d2, I can only assume that you're fighting tooth and nail to keep the link to the Bollycat article because you're the webmaster there, or one of the main contributors. Please, stop. You are just making yourself, and the site, look ridiculous.
Sunny has said the site is bad. I looked at his examples and had to agree that they were wrong. I found a discussion on Sepia Mutiny agreeing that many of the supposed copies weren't so. That is just too many people agreeing that the site is inaccurate.
If other people don't think the site is good enough to merit being linked, ACCEPT the verdict. Don't try to puff yourself up. Instead, ask what you can do to make the site better. Then ask to have the link reviewed again. Since this IS a big topic of conversation among Bollywood fans, an accurate site would be appreciated. How about asking visitors to rate the theories about what movie links to what? Then display the ratings. That would make it very clear what is commonly accepted as a copy and what isn't. If people disagreed, they could do something about it, instead of just fuming. Zora 13:35, 17 September 2005 (UTC)
- I agree with Zora. The site in question makes laughable comparisons, having seen many of the movies being compared, I find the comparisons questionable, if not totally bogus. The promotion of the site is regrettable, H2D2, you need to stop doing that, because eventually that promo-paragraph would be thrown out. Wikipedia is not a tool for website promotion. A discussion on plagiarism is valid, while a promotional discussion of an obscure site is not valid content for wikipedia. Please understand the wikipedia principles. Thanks. --Ragib 00:09, 19 September 2005 (UTC)

[edit] Desist from making personal attacks
This refers to your recent edit on Bollywood; in the edit summary, you've asked me to improve my English. However, you've got both my username as well as the context entirely wrong. New refers to a bi-polar status, while young refers to a continuum of age. It would have become much clearer to you had you read the section on barnstars where I say "Probably I'm getting too old..." Please be reminded that making personal attacks is neither good etiquette nor proper wikiquette. --Gurubrahma 14:43, 25 October 2005 (UTC)
