[edit] License tagging for Image:KumudiniLakhia.jpeg
Thanks for uploading Image:KumudiniLakhia.jpeg. Wikipedia gets hundreds of images uploaded every day, and in order to verify that the images can be legally used on Wikipedia, the source and copyright status must be indicated. Images need to have an image tag applied to the image description page indicating the copyright status of the image. This uniform and easy-to-understand method of indicating the license status allows potential re-users of the images to know what they are allowed to do with the images.
For more information on using images, see the following pages:
This is an automated notice by OrphanBot. If you need help on selecting a tag to use, or in adding the tag to the image description, feel free to post a message at Wikipedia:Media copyright questions. 15:07, 25 April 2006 (UTC)
[edit] List of Kathak dancers
Hi User:H1es-, I suggest we set List of Kathak dancers to a rough chronological order. That way we will get the gurus ahead of the shishyas. Chaipau 15:00, 6 June 2006 (UTC)
[edit] Tmesis
Hi,
I don't suppose you could add glosses/translations for the #Tmesis in Ancient Greek section of Tmesis? Right now, it's hard for a non-Greek speaker such as myself to really understand what's going on, as we have no way of knowing what κατα, δακρυα, and λειβων each mean on their own, and no way of knowing what καταλειβων means as a compound verb.
By the way, I noticed that you entered the Greek text using HTML character references. This seems painfully slow. If you don't have a way of entering Greek text directly on your computer, the easiest way to include Greek on Wikipedia is to use the links down below the edit-box; clicking on a letter inserts it into your current position in the edit-box. Even if that doesn't work for you, you might find it more mnemonic to use HTML entity references instead, such as α
, β
, etc. (All of this is up to you, though; if you prefer to use the HTML character references, you are of course free to do so.)

[edit] B. Sohanlal
A proposed deletion template has been added to the article B. Sohanlal, suggesting that it be deleted according to the proposed deletion process. All contributions are appreciated, but this article may not satisfy Wikipedia's criteria for inclusion, and the deletion notice should explain why (see also "What Wikipedia is not" and Wikipedia's deletion policy). You may prevent the proposed deletion by removing the {{dated prod}}
notice, but please explain why you disagree with the proposed deletion in your edit summary or on its talk page. Also, please consider improving the article to address the issues raised. Even though removing the deletion notice will prevent deletion through the proposed deletion process, the article may still be deleted if it matches any of the speedy deletion criteria or it can be sent to Articles for Deletion, where it may be deleted if consensus to delete is reached. If you agree with the deletion of the article, and you are the only person who has made substantial edits to the page, please add {{db-author}} to the top of B. Sohanlal. [edit] Image:Kathak dancer.jpg
Hi, thanks for letting me know about the image I added. I don't know anything about Kathak; I had been reading the article and decided to take a look on Flickr for another image to add, but I guess it was mislabeled. I've renamed the image and added it to the Bharatanatyam article. Sorry about the confusion -- Cheers Strobilus (talk) 18:14, 19 December 2007 (UTC)
[edit] Disputed fair use rationale for Image:KumudiniLakhia.jpeg
Thanks for uploading Image:KumudiniLakhia.jpeg. However, there is a concern that the rationale you have provided for using this image under "fair use" may be invalid. Please read the instructions at Wikipedia:Non-free content carefully, then go to the image description page and clarify why you think the image qualifies for fair use. Using one of the templates at Wikipedia:Fair use rationale guideline is an easy way to ensure that your image is in compliance with Wikipedia policy, but remember that you must complete the template. Do not simply insert a blank template on an image page.
If it is determined that the image does not qualify under fair use, it will be deleted within a couple of days according to our criteria for speedy deletion. If you have any questions please ask them at the media copyright questions page. Thank you.BetacommandBot (talk) 23:56, 2 January 2008 (UTC)
