Hüseyin Altan (born 1980) is a Turkish Cypriot guitarist, and violinist.
He was born in 1980, in Nicosia, where he studied violin, and guitar at the Eastern Mediterranean University. His love for music started at early ages with guitar.
He performed as a violinist at Polyphonic Symphony Orchestras, violinist at Friends of Music Chamber Orchestra Concert, CYPRUS, guitarist, vocalist, and violinist at Eurovisionen Festival, Germany, guitarist and arranger at The Kyrenia Municipality Orchestra, Spain. He has been involved in several bi-communal concerts, and events in Cyprus as a guitarist, vocalist and violinist. He performed with Christos Savvas Savva, Tony Jones, Ersen Sururi, Okan Ersan, Suin Qui, Ian Biggan, Aslı Giray, Asım Can Gündüz.
Altan started his teaching career in 2004 as a music teacher at a private college. Now, he is doing a postgraduate degree on education sciences at Eastern Mediterranean University. He is also a member of Turkish Cypriot Nicosia Municipality Orchestra, and a volunteer music teacher at SOS Children Village, northern Cyprus.
