Héroe is the Spanish version for Hero by Mariah Carey. This version was almost given to Gloria Estefan, but the version was performed by Carey and the English version was her eight #1 hit single in 1993. The Mexican, Argentinian and Spanish bonus track for Music Box brings the track. The Spanish adaptation was made by Jorge Luis Piloto[1].

It was criticized by Spanish speaking fans that the adaptation is unworthy to the original version . The song reached also the Top 10 in several countries.
