Hélène Mandroux-Colas

Hélène Mandroux-Colas is a politician and doctor born the first of December 1940 at Montpellier, France. She later became its mayor in April 2004.

Mayor of Montpellier since 2004, following the resignation of Georges Frêche, who could not cumulate the job as municipal executive with his accession with the executive of the Languedoc-Roussillon Area. Since her designation as mayor, her name appears as Helene Mandroux.

Her career at Montpellier debuted in Georges Frêche's municipal team. Georges Frêche gave her important responsibilities like finances, municipal staff, legal affairs since 1995, and first associated mayor since 2001. It is Georges Frêche that named her as his successor.

Since her election by the municipal council in the post of the Mayor of Montpellier, Hélène Mandroux continues to work on the decisions that Georges Frêche had started working on, and who is still present at the town hall of Montpellier since he is part of the municipal team.
