Héctor Ortiz (baseball)

Héctor Ortiz (born October 14, 1969 was a Major League baseball catcher who played from 1998 to 2002 for the Kansas City Royals and the Texas Rangers in the American League. He was born in Rio Piedras, Puerto Rico.

He batted and threw right-handed. He appeared in a total of 93 games in four years, with a career batting average of .288.
