Héctor Icazuriaga

Héctor Icazuriaga (born January 9, 1955 in Chivilcoy, Buenos Aires) is the Secretary of Intelligence of Argentina since 2003. Icazuriaga is married and has two children.
Icazuriaga was a Justicialist Party deputy and vice governor for the province of Santa Cruz. When governor Néstor Kirchner resigned in May 2003 to become President of Argentina, Icazuriaga became governor of the province. Icazuriaga served as governor until December 2003, when he joined the government.
His nicknames are "El vasco" (because of his Basque descent), "Pancho" and "El Chango".
