Per Håkan Loob (born July 3, 1960 in Visby, Sweden) is a retired Swedish professional ice hockey player who is currently the general manager of Färjestads BK in the Swedish Elitserien.
Loob played right wing for the Calgary Flames from 1983 to 1989, and won the Stanley Cup in the latter year. He then returned to his Swedish team, Färjestads BK in Karlstad, where he was a star player until his retirement in 1996. He is one of very few ice hockey players who have won the Stanley Cup, an Olympic gold medal, and a World Championship title. He has also won the Swedish championship, in 1981 with Färjestad. He is now the general manager of Färjestad. The Swedish elite league has in honour of him introduced the Håkan Loob Trophy for the leading goal scorer in the league.
He holds the records for most goals (42)[1] and most points (76) during a regular season in the Swedish Elitserien, both set in 36 games in 1982-83. He is also the only Swedish player who has scored 50 goals or more in one season in the NHL.
Together with Tomas Jonsson and Mats Näslund, these three players were the first members of the Triple Gold Club, winning both Olympic gold, World Championship gold, and the Stanley Cup.
Loob's older brother Peter is also a former ice hockey player, and played briefly in the NHL and the AHL.
