Häxor och Porr (in Swedish: Witches and Pornography) is a Swedish/German experiment. The band is an eclectic nightmare: Indie, black metal and electro. Like a mixture of Field Mice and Immortal. The members have a history in a couple of the leading underground bands in Sweden, like Grapefruit & Bodybuilding, Slagsmålsklubben and Satanic Anal. Besides that Häxor och Porr have been collaborating with 50Hertz and have been featured on Björk's compilation CD Army of Me: Remixes and Covers.

In 2005, a few members moved to Berlin with their main band Slagsmålsklubben. There Sophia Scalpel would join as a new member.

The band released their first album 69 Animal Songs in 2002. It was a paraphrase of Magnetic Fields triple cd. But instead of love all the songs were about animals.

The album took the band on a small tour in eastern Europe, Poland, Lithuania, Belarus and Moldavia. One evening in November 2003 the lead singer was attacked by a couple of pitbulls in Chisinau (Moldavia). He was badly injured and left the band immediately. But a new singer was recruited from the christian metal band The Gravestones.

In 2004 Häxor och Porr released the amazing album Bränn alla broar sänk alla skepp. It was not a success but it took the band to a couple of Swedish music festivals.

In 2005 the band released the EP Mayday mayday, hallå, hallå. It was a sad story about a pilot who crashes his plane in the Atlantic ocean. Before he dies he heard his wife in the radio system. She is having sex with the terminal chief. They just laugh and turn the radio off. When the pilot tries to jump someone has stolen the parachute.

Later same year the band contributed on the Björk album Army of Me with the song Army of Djur. This song was hyped by a couple of British music journalists, like the reporter of The Guardian.

Autumn 2005 Häxor och Porr went to Berlin in order to record the Fuck you Glesbygd. In a dark bar in Berlin they met the singer Sophia Scalpel. She sang on the radio hits Dramabananen and Das Pferdchen mit dem Olympischen Apfel. Latter song almost became the signature melody of Paralympics. But the olympic people took another song in the last minute. The songs from Fuck you Glesbygd were frequently played on the swedish radio.

In May 2007 the new Häxor och Porr album called Belgien is released.
