[edit] Mudflap

A tag has been placed on Mudflap (internet personality), requesting that it be speedily deleted from Wikipedia. This has been done because the article seems to be about a person, group of people, band, club, company, or web content, but it does not indicate how or why the subject is notable: that is, why an article about that subject should be included in an encyclopedia. Under the criteria for speedy deletion, articles that do not assert the subject's importance or significance may be deleted at any time. Please see the guidelines for what is generally accepted as notable.

If you think that you can assert the notability of the subject, you may contest the deletion. To do this, add {{hangon}} on the top of the page (just below the existing speedy deletion or "db" tag) and leave a note on the article's talk page explaining your position. Please do not remove the speedy deletion tag yourself, but don't hesitate to add information to the article that would confirm the subject's notability under Wikipedia guidelines.

For guidelines on specific types of articles, you may want to check out our criteria for biographies, for web sites, for bands, or for companies. Feel free to leave a note on my talk page if you have any questions about this. Vaubin 01:49, 26 May 2007 (UTC)

[edit] Little context in Jinmay

Hello, this is a message from an automated bot. A tag has been placed on Jinmay, by Mattb112885, another Wikipedia user, requesting that it be speedily deleted from Wikipedia. The tag claims that it should be speedily deleted because Jinmay is very short providing little or no context to the reader. Please see Wikipedia:Stub for our minimum information standards for short articles.

To contest the tagging and request that administrators wait before possibly deleting Jinmay, please affix the template {{hangon}} to the page, and put a note on its talk page. If the article has already been deleted, see the advice and instructions at WP:WMD. Please note, this bot is only informing you of the nomination for speedy deletion, it did not nominate Jinmay itself. Feel free to leave a message on the bot operator's talk page if you have any questions about this or any problems with this bot. --Android Mouse Bot 2 13:33, 1 June 2007 (UTC)

[edit] Ori

Could you please tell me which episode mentions an Ori emperor? I don't remember one. Thanks. --Tango 20:59, 1 June 2007 (UTC)

[edit] Cult films

Please note that Category:Cult film is up for deletion since it is a recreation of a previously deleted category. This category, lacking any precise criteria for inclusion, will be axed. Please stop adding it to the articles. --EEMeltonIV 01:20, 7 July 2007 (UTC)

[edit] Hero races

Similar to Category:Cult film, I have nominated Category:Hero races for deletion because there are no concrete, objective criteria for inclusion. Categories tend to be used for fairly concrete aspects of an article, and I think the notion of what constitutes a "hero" or group of "heroes" is just too amorphous. However, there're five days until an administrator makes the decision, and you can follow that link to articulate a reason to keep it if you'd like. Thank you for your contributions. --EEMeltonIV 01:31, 7 July 2007 (UTC)

[edit] July 2007

Thanks for experimenting with the page Raimundo Pedrosa on Wikipedia. Your recent edit appears to have added incorrect information, and has been reverted or removed. All information in the encyclopedia must be verifiable in a reliable published source. If you believe the information you added was correct, please cite references or sources or discuss the changes on the article's talk page before making them. Please use the sandbox for any other tests you want to do. Take a look at the welcome page if you would like to learn more about contributing to our encyclopedia. Thank you. [edit] Yu-Gi-Oh! GX

Your edits to Martin Empire and Society of Light have been undone. The Society is a religious cult, and the Empire merely a group that were referred to by this name in only one instance. The two are in no way formalized governments. The Clawed One 03:19, 3 September 2007 (UTC)

Your edits to Ryp Bakura were also undone. Neither Bakura nor Dark Bakura were ever kings. The Clawed One 03:20, 3 September 2007 (UTC)

Please do not add nonsense to Wikipedia, as you did to the Santa Claus page. It is considered vandalism. If you would like to experiment, use the sandbox. Thank you. OhNoitsJamie Talk 21:49, 16 October 2007 (UTC)

[edit] Repost of Category:Fictional drug users

Hello, this is a message from an automated bot. A tag has been placed on Category:Fictional drug users, by another Wikipedia user, requesting that it be speedily deleted from Wikipedia. The tag claims that it should be speedily deleted because Category:Fictional drug users was previously deleted as a result of an articles for deletion (or another XfD)

To contest the tagging and request that administrators wait before possibly deleting Category:Fictional drug users, please affix the template {{hangon}} to the page, and put a note on its talk page. If the article has already been deleted, see the advice and instructions at WP:WMD. Feel free to contact the bot operator if you have any questions about this or any problems with this bot, bearing in mind that this bot is only informing you of the nomination for speedy deletion; it does not perform any nominations or deletions itself. [edit] Why July 9 and October?

Why did you create categories for articles with unsourced statements since those dates in July and October? Do you realize that they even overlap because everything since October is since July? Doczilla (talk) 04:15, 18 November 2007 (UTC)

[edit] CfD nomination of Category:United States popular history

[edit] Lisa (Dexter's Laboratory)

A proposed deletion template has been added to the article Lisa (Dexter's Laboratory), suggesting that it be deleted according to the proposed deletion process. All contributions are appreciated, but this article may not satisfy Wikipedia's criteria for inclusion, and the deletion notice should explain why (see also "What Wikipedia is not" and Wikipedia's deletion policy). You may prevent the proposed deletion by removing the {{dated prod}} notice, but please explain why you disagree with the proposed deletion in your edit summary or on its talk page. Also, please consider improving the article to address the issues raised. Even though removing the deletion notice will prevent deletion through the proposed deletion process, the article may still be deleted if it matches any of the speedy deletion criteria or it can be sent to Articles for Deletion, where it may be deleted if consensus to delete is reached. If you agree with the deletion of the article, and you are the only person who has made substantial edits to the page, please add {{db-author}} to the top of Lisa (Dexter's Laboratory). Redfarmer (talk) 09:33, 4 February 2008 (UTC)

[edit] AfD nomination of Lisa (Dexter's Laboratory)

[edit] February 2008

Hello. In case you didn't know, when you add content to talk pages and Wikipedia pages that have open discussion, such as in User talk: Redfarmer, you should sign your posts by typing four tildes ( ~~~~ ) at the end of your comment. You may also click on the signature button Image:Signature_icon.png located above the edit window. This will automatically insert a signature with your username or IP address and the time you posted the comment. Please do not remove Articles for deletion notices from articles or remove other people's comments in Articles for deletion pages, as you did with Lisa (Dexter's Laboratory). Doing so won't stop the discussion from taking place. You are, however, welcome to comment about the proposed deletion on the appropriate page. Thank you. [edit] Speedy deletion of Perry the Platypus

A tag has been placed on Perry the Platypus requesting that it be speedily deleted from Wikipedia. This has been done under section A1 of the criteria for speedy deletion, because it is a very short article providing little or no context to the reader. Please see Wikipedia:Stub for our minimum information standards for short articles. Lastly, please note that if the article does get deleted, you can contact one of these admins to request that a copy be emailed to you. Rnb (talk) 01:41, 29 March 2008 (UTC)

[edit] Asmodeus

I have reverted your last edit of Asmodeus (Dungeons & Dragons) because I am convinced that it is not correct. Additionally, I do not think that the link to Satan, that you added, contributes to the subject, as Asmodeus in Dungeons & Dragons is, as the category of the article says, a fictional portrayal of Satan, while the link leads to Satan as it is portrayed in real-world religion. Asmodeus has, to my knowledge, never been reverred to as Satan in D&D. I would be happy to read your opinion. Daranios (talk) 14:45, 7 April 2008 (UTC)
