[edit] Notability
- The long span of publication and reprinting shows Mary Plain's popularity continued over a long period.
- The price reached by copies in good condition shows this author's books are highly collectable (although none are currently in print).
- It is expected that there are monographs or journal articles on this author. There are probably review of the books on publication.
- As the author's first publication was in 1930, they are probably well over 70 years old. There may be obituary material.
- My grand-daughter, aged 7, likes the stories.
