Talk:Gwen Media

From Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia

Who the hell wrote the main entry? I've seen most of Gwenmedia's early work, and most of them have female to female sex. Whoever says otherwise is deluding themselves. They made high class porn. Great porn, but porn none the less. Saying otherwise is madness. Most of the work had lesbian sex scenes! —Preceding unsigned comment added by 79.73.221.31 (talk) 19:18, 15 January 2008 (UTC)

I would add Amanda Wildefyre to the list of performers who put GwenMedia on the map.

--- Done.

Wildefyre's inclusion was done in response to the now revealed legal problems between Bob and Isabella. Wildefyre was actually able to fulfill the planned 10 episode series of a progressive domme that the original Ivy Manor was supposed to be, namely her "Amanda Wildefyre: Rubber Slave" series. In fact Bob was supposedly in talks of renewing Wildefyre with an open-ended continuing saga on occasion, running parallel to the "Mistress Aradia: Real Deal" series because Aradia's sales were NOT as successful as Zak had hoped, and Jean Bardot was NOT able to commit to producing Rubberella as much as Zak wanted for revenue production. Zak also did NOT want to become dependent on any one single performer for fear of repeating the problems with Sinclaire for his company.

>>Thanks for the Amanda Wildefyre update. You obviously have the inside story. Keep us current on Isabella's plans (and any additional info on upcoming Amanda viddies).

>>>Sorry no new information on Amanda at this time. Last I heard of her in active fetish promotion was at this years' Fetish Evolution Expo walking with up and coming fetish domme Dante Posh

>>>Dante Posh has been making a lot of progressive appearances with notable fetish photo and film producers including Sandra's fetish-live and Marquis.de.

>>>It is possible that Amanda could be talks with Sinclaire to become part of HER Gwen Media but I find that unlikely at this time as again Amanda and others were hired by Zak as part of Sinclaire's specific replacement of the Ivy Manor series. Though that may have changed over time. Best to look to Wildefyre's own announcements for what she intends, though I will try to keep my ears open for her.

>>>Updated with public citations and references

>>>Updated to included Sinclaire's PRELIMINARY reactivation info.

> I believe that an Amanda Wildefyre video was an AVN Nominee also.

Sorry, none of the Amanda Wildefyre videos released through Gwenmedia were nominated for AVN Awards.

Amanda does not join Gwenmedia until late 2002

2003 Gwenmedia "Ivy Manor 5" (Winner!)

2004 Gwenmedia "Sessions 8"

2005 Gwenmedia "The Asylum"

2006 Gwenmedia had ceased operation and but had the already left the company Mistress Aradia film "Outpatient" nominated

Amanda has NOT performed for any other adult film company that has publically released content since she left Gwenmedia in 2005 than her own company and website which does not publish and release films. If she has performed for any other adult film companies, those materials have not been publically released at this time.

[edit] Fair use rationale for Image:2005 gwenmedia logo.JPG

Image:2005 gwenmedia logo.JPG is being used on this article. I notice the image page specifies that the image is being used under fair use but there is no explanation or rationale as to why its use in this Wikipedia article constitutes fair use. In addition to the boilerplate fair use template, you must also write out on the image description page a specific explanation or rationale for why using this image in each article is consistent with fair use.

Please go to the image description page and edit it to include a fair use rationale. Using one of the templates at Wikipedia:Fair use rationale guideline is an easy way to insure that your image is in compliance with Wikipedia policy, but remember that you must complete the template. Do not simply insert a blank template on an image page.

If there is other fair use media, consider checking that you have specified the fair use rationale on the other images used on this page. Note that any fair use images lacking such an explanation can be deleted one week after being tagged, as described on criteria for speedy deletion. If you have any questions please ask them at the Media copyright questions page. Thank you.
