bizarre non sequitur question?

This sounds like editorializing to me. I think that the responsible party should remove it to remain as objective as possible.

Mention should be made of Ms. Ifill's calling herself a moderate when she has repeatedly chosen to cozy up to the right wing. This site lists some examples: http://www.blackcommentator.com/138/138_fr_hack_journalism.html

The last point in the article sounds biased.
