Gwalleuk or Kanroku was a Korean Buddhist monk from the kingdom of Baekje who lived during the time of King Wideok. In 602, he went over to Japan to solidify Baekje's diplomacy with Japan. He is known for helping spread Buddhism to Japan and is mentioned several times in Japanese Buddhist records.

In Feb 18th, 1977, H.Kosai and K.Hurukawa found a new asteroid (4963). It was named "Kanroku", the Sino-Japanese reading for Gwalleuk by them.
