[edit] AfD nomination of Synthetic philosophy

I have nominated Synthetic philosophy, an article you created, for deletion. I do not feel that this article satisfies Wikipedia's criteria for inclusion, and have explained why at Wikipedia:Articles for deletion/Synthetic philosophy. Your opinions on the matter are welcome at that same discussion page; also, you are welcome to edit the article to address these concerns. Thank you for your time. скоморохъ 11:41, 3 March 2008 (UTC)

Hello Guy. Wikipedia is an encyclopedia, which means it is a tertiary source which collects material on notable topics which have received significant coverage in reliable sources. Your topic, "synthetic philosophy" seems to be original research by you and your colleagues. As an encyclopedia, Wikipedia does not allow any original research. Unless "synthetic philosophy" in the sense you mean it has received attention from sources such as academic papers, news media, magazines, other encyclopedias etc., the article will certainly be deleted. The best way for you to save the article from deletion is to add references to the article which show that it has received independent coverage. Regards, скоморохъ 21:10, 3 March 2008 (UTC)
