[edit] Biography
A graduate of Baldwin High School and Penn State University, Guy's biggest sports hero growing up was Bill Mazeroski.
Junker is a big fan of the book "Out of this Furnace," and the "Field of Dreams" movie. His favorite Web site is none other than ESPN.com. Among his favorite places to eat is the Monterey Bay restaurant and for kicking back, the Little Brown Jug. In his leisure time, Junker coaches little league baseball and amateur Penguins hockey, not to mention, plays in an over-30 baseball league.
Junker also was involved in a legal incident in the early 1990's. Junker was apparently caught soliciting sex from an undercover female vice officer on a downtown Pittsburgh street. Junker pleaded no contest to the charge and the incident has not seem to hurt Junker's career at all.
Junker resides in Pittsburgh with his wife Darla, daughters Emilee, 12, and Natalee, 8, along with his son Fernando, 31.[1]
