Guy Deutscher

Guy Deutscher is a professor in the Department of Languages and Cultures of Ancient Mesopotamia at the University of Leiden in Holland. He has a Ph.D. in linguistics from the University of Cambridge. He has written two books: Syntactic Change in Akkadian (2000) and The Unfolding of Language (2005).
