Guy Peter Bromley Branston (born 9 January 1979 in Leicester, East Midlands) is an English football defender. He currently plays for Kettering Town whom he joined after spells at Notts County and Peterborough United.

Branston joined Peterborough on July 24, 2006, from Oldham Athletic, after wanting to move closers to home.[1] He had impressed for Peterborough in two previous loan spells where he proved to be a leader and as a result was given the captain's armband. [2]

After just one season though, he fell out of favour, and was loaned to both Rochdale and Northampton Town[3] before being released from his contract on December 13, 2007. He signed for Notts County on 1 January for one month only. 2008.[4]
