[edit] Polish nobility today
“In 1921, the first Constitution of the Polish Republic after World War I finally terminated all privileges of nobility and forbade the usage of arms (Article 96). The later Constitution of 1935 (Article 81, §2) cancelled this paragraph, so de facto this meant the restitution of some old laws regarding the use of arms and honorary titles. However, the privileges were cancelled by another paragraph of the same Constitution which says that all citizens are equal by law. Such situation remains to this today.” - Piotr Pawel Bajer - Published: July 26th, 2000. [1]
"In December 1990, when Lech Wałęsa became the first post-Communist president of Poland, he received the symbols of the Polish Republic – ‘’not of the Polish People's Republic’’ - (the red presidential banner, the presidential and state seals, the presidential sashes, and the original text of the 1935 Constitution) from the last president of the Government in Exile, Ryszard Kaczorowski, thus re-establishing the continuity of the Republic and in effect retroactively recognizing the legitimacy of the Government in Exile. In 1992, military medals and other decorations awarded by the Government in Exile were officially recognized in Poland." [2]

[edit] Your query
Because there are no authentic records of the Lithuanian nobility in the 14th and 15th centuries, which makes true origin of princely families extremely difficult to unravel. The early Gediminid genealogy is a mess, while the origin of the non-Gediminids (like the Glinski, Holszanski, Sapiehas, or Radziwills) is even more difficult to ascertain. --Ghirla -трёп- 09:57, 10 March 2006 (UTC)

Sorry I don't speak Polish? What's the connection with Dołęga-Ossowski and who is Henryk Dołęga-Ossowski?
Thanks

[edit] Wiki polaca

Saludos.

[edit] Zionism = Racism
Please do not make similar changes to the article Zionism again. I have reverted your edit. From someone purporting to be a professor of history, I would expect a slightly higher level of editing. Also, please do not again make such controversial changes with the 'minor edit' button. This is a clear violation of Wikipedia guidelines. --Daniel575 | (talk) 08:20, 30 October 2006 (UTC)

[edit] Categories
Hello Gustavo, thank you for your contributions related to Polish nobility. However, would you please familiarize yourself with the category namespace? Categories shouldn't have a lot of text (usually none at all), or links to articles that appear (or should appear) in the categories, or images; all of this just gets in the way. Also, categories should be properly indexed. I have tried to fix this in some of the categories you've worked on, but I've noticed that recently you've been reverting me. Appleseed (Talk) 05:58, 5 November 2006 (UTC)
- I've made some updates (including indexing and categorization) to some of the categories you've worked on. They should be ok now. Happy editing. Appleseed (Talk) 00:03, 6 November 2006 (UTC)
- Hi Gustavo, what you were referring to is called a template. As for your second question ("It is me again"), I'm not sure I follow. Appleseed (Talk) 20:56, 8 November 2006 (UTC)
- I see what you mean. That's actually not a problem with the categories, it's an issue of too many articles in "Category:Polish nobility". The solution is to remove "Category:Polish nobility" from articles such as Hieronim Augustyn Lubomirski. That article is already in "Category:Lubomirski", which is in "Category:Polish noble families", which is in "Category:Polish nobility". Appleseed (Talk) 03:43, 9 November 2006 (UTC)

[edit] Peronism
I agree with you, they fill all the criteria; so they should be listed on List of fascist movements by country. However, if Template:Fascism included every such movement, it would be hundreds of entries long. Therefore, the template should list only the very few most important movements. --Stlemur 05:16, 24 July 2007 (UTC)

Thanks for uploading Image:Herb Holownia.PNG. However, there is a concern that the rationale you have provided for using this image under "fair use" may be invalid.
