Augusto Buonafalce was born in Leghorn [1], Italy. He now lives in Lerici [2], Italy. He worked in Data Processing and Patents. He has been an avid student of classical cryptology since the appearance of Kahn's The Codebreakers. He joined the American Cryptogram Association in 1983 and is a member of the Editorial Board of Cryptologia. He wrote many essays on Renaissance cryptography and eminent personages, including Alberti, Bellaso, Darby[3], Fontana[4], Køhl, Morland[5] , Petersen [6], Simonetta and, Vigenère.
