Gustavo Boccoli (born February 16, 1978) is a Brazilian football player. He is a versatile midfielder/forward who joined Israel's Maccabi Haifa after his former team, Maccabi Ah"i Nazareth, dropped to the second division in the 2003-2004 season. He won the 2004-2005 championship with Haifa. He can play in the centre midfield and as a winger and can also occupy the "Number 10 position" behind the striker. He draws more fouls than any other player in Ligat ha'Al (Premier League). Boccoli was voted "footballer of the year" by the Israeli Premier League players, after scoring 12 goals, assisting 9 goals and helping Maccabi Haifa to win its third championship in a row and a Toto Cup.

Boccoli speaks Hebrew fluently, and has shown a great will to settle in Israel and has recently filed a request for Israeli citizenship. His request was denied to the dismay of Israeli football fans, wanting him to play for the national team. An Online petition imploring the Israeli Ministry of interior to grant him citizenship is available for the public on the Internet[citation needed].
