Gustav Lorentzen (born on September 28, 1947 in Bergen, Norway), Norwegian singer/songwriter. From being half of the successful duo Knutsen & Ludvigsen, he went solo in 1986, winning 4 Norwegian Grammys (Spellemannprisen) and one nomination for his 5 albums. In addition to music, Lorentzen has made several TV series and written quite a few books.
Since 1997, Lorentzen has collaborated with the psychologist Magne Raundalen, creating a therapeutic program for traumatized children, mainly victims of wars.
Lorentzen has been a Unicef Ambassador since 1993.
