Gus-Zhelezny

Gus-Zhelezny (Russian: Гусь-Железный, lit. Iron Goose) is an Urban-type settlement under the Kasimovsky District's (Ryazan Oblast) jurisdiction. Its population is about 2,300 (2006 est.).
The village was founded in the 18th century on Gus River's bank.
The main point of interest of Gus-Zhelezny is the 19th century Trinity Church.
