To be renamed, for example Gurvand, count of Rennes: he was never Duke of Brittany, but tried to become King of Brittany.Benoni 19:31, 5 June 2007 (UTC)

He was never Count of Rennes. He never held the title of count. He tried to succeed Salomon, so Duke suffices. Srnec 04:26, 20 July 2007 (UTC)
But Salomon was not Duke. Salomon was king of Brittany. The Dukedom of Brittany begins with Alan II Wrybeard. The title is thus false and should be changed. The title I suggested is correct: you may want to write a new history of Brittany, but up to know all the histories of Brittany call him "count of Rennes" (see for example Joel Cornette).Benoni 19:15, 29 July 2007 (UTC)
