[edit] Apology
I removed the external links from this article believing that they did not fit WP:EL. I just read the following line from that link
An article about a book, a musical score, or some other media should link to a site hosting a copy of the work if none of the "Links normally to be avoided" criteria apply.
Which pretty much decides that the links do belong.
I apologize for not researching the guidelines for external links more thoroughly.

- Awesome! I think it's great to have someplace the reader can go to hear the Guru Gita. Thanks for double-checking. I'd love to find a link to the text to use. Someday I'll post the text on a non-commercial web site for that purpose, but that takes time. [edit] Lahiri Mahasay's commentaries
Commentaries of the Guru Gita, in the light of Kriya Yoga, written in Bengali, has been translated into English for several decades. It might be worthwhile to mention it. Gitas The Vedic Bibles, Complete works of Lahiri Mahasay Vol 1, Swami Satyeswarananda Giri Babaji, The Sanskrit Classics, ISBN 1-977854-15-8, Library of Congress 91-67835. 2nd Edition, 1992.
The author comments on page 6,
Guru Gita is part of Biswasar Tantra. Although a tiny book it is the most important of all holy scriptures [...] In this edition the author presents the commentaries of Guru Gita written by Yogiraj Sri Sri Shyama Charan Lahiri Mahasay, in the light of Kriya published in 1873 by his chief disciple Panchanan Battacharya.
Another translation, this one available online is here : Yogi Niketan translation
