Guru Tegh Bahadur Institute of Technology is an engineering institute in the heart of New Delhi, the capital city of India under GGS IP university. It was named after the 9th Sikh Guru, Tegh Bahadur.

The Institute is located in 5.3 acres with a 4 storey education block that has 16 spacious class-rooms, 6 tutorial halls, 10 faculty rooms, a computer centre, 20 laboratories, a projection room, a workshop and a canteen for the students’ convenience.

GTBIT was set up in 1999 keeping in view the rapid technological growth & changes taking place in the society under GGS IP university.

4 year Bachelor of Technology degree courses are provided in the following areas:
- Electronics & Communication Engineering (120 Seats)
- Computer Science & Engineering (120 Seats)
- Information Technology (120 Seats)
- Electrical & Electronics Engineering (60 Seats)
GTBIT (short form for the college name) is recognized by AICTE, the institution and regulatory body for technical colleges and universities. To develop a close collaboration with industry through exchange of personnel and undertake consultancy projects for developing strong collaboration links with other academic and research institutes in the country and abroad.
