[edit] Relation to marks on guqin

My guqin has a set of marks on it, denoting, I assume, stops along the string. These stops are placed at lengths compared to the total string length of 1/8, 1/6, 1/5, 1/4, 1/3, 2/5, 1/2, 3/5, 2/3, 3/4, 4/5, 5/6, and 7/8. Of these, only 1/8, 1/6, 1/3, 1/4, 1/2, 2/3, and 3/4 correspond to Pythagorean ratios. The article should relate these markings to the tunings. —Preceding unsigned comment added by 71.104.122.200 (talk) 03:43, 4 February 2008 (UTC)
